A Philadelphia native, Chris started programming and writing at eight years old. Under the encouragement of her uncle, a Philadelphia school teacher, Chris’ after school hobby of computers and programming evolved into a passion that would last a lifetime. Her love for writing and computers reflected favorably in her school projects and homework assignments at the Albert M. Greenfield School. Chris’ creative writing was recognized by the Concerned Black Men Youth Organization, Philadelphia’s Junior Achievement Program, and the Philadelphia Chapter of the NAACP. Chris won two NAACP ACT-SO awards, presented by Sonja Sanchez, in 1986 and represented Philadelphia in the National NAACP ACT-SO Competition.

At 15, Chris landed a part-time entry-level position at the University City Science Center, and later transitioned to a position at The Ben Franklin Technology Center. While there, Chris became a mentee of the Chief Technology Officer, and learned the foundations of computer networking and the Windows operating system. The following nine years at the Science Center and BFTC helped to forge her skills for managing technology projects, and facilitated an early exposure to business management, entrepreneurial resources, and the Internet.

Chris graduated at 17 from the prestigious college preparatory high school, Gwynedd-Mercy Academy, excelling in computers, science, and math. She enrolled in Temple University, School of HPERD for Community Education in 1988. Under the wing of Temple Professor and Olympic Champion, Dr. Nikki Franke, Chris showed diverse talent as the Manager of Temple University Women’s Fencing Team, and as a Community Educator holding a weekly after-school program with urban youth about Teenage Pregnancy.

At 24, Chris plunged into her full-time technology consulting career programming web applications and designing web sites for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in the US and UK. As a freelance consultant, her experience spans credits include Hewlett-Packard, DuPont, and MBNA/Bank of America.

Now in her 30-something years, Chris is taking the internet business world by storm, creating award-winng web business portals and doing workshops and seminars for the Small Business sector. A motivational speaker who infuses her audience with hope, determination, and self-esteem to have a sound “Mind, Body and Business”, Chris uses unique perspectives and her personal stories to help you get ahead in the world of business and tap into your Millionaire Mindset. You can also hear her on CBS Radio, the Voice America Business Radio Network, BlogTalk Radio, and the Business Talk Radio Network engaging in on-air discussions about internet business topics.
